This guide will teach you how to add a mortgage request, or to remove one from your file.

Add a Mortgage Request

1) Navigate to the Mortgage Information section

2) Next to the mortgage position you wish to request, click on the drop down and select "Requested".

3) Now enter the amount requested, or use the calculator button to quickly fill in the difference between the Property Value & Down Payment.

4) If you scroll down, there will now be a section of the application dedicated to this 1st Mortgage Request, where you can fill in the necessary information about the request.

5) The same process is followed to request a 2nd or 3rd mortgage.


Remove a Mortgage Request

1) To remove a mortgage request, navigate to the Mortgage Information.

2) Click on the drop down next to the mortgage you wish to remove and change the selection from "Requested" to blank.

3) This warning will pop up. Please note that if you have already submitted this mortgage request to a lender, any response received from the lender or already received from the lender, will be disconnected from the file and you will not be able to accept the response or generate documents based on it.

If you are removing the mortgage request in order to try another option, we recommend making a copy of the deal to work up the alternative option, rather than deleting a mortgage request that has already been submitted to the lender.

If you proceed past this warning and later need to accept the deleted mortgage response, you will need to do a submission to "Other" to recreate the deleted submission and then a manual response to capture the response information.
